I'm the odd man out apparently, I hated college and couldn't wait to get out. Once I did, I loved it. I've always enjoyed work more that school. At least at work I feel like I'm accomplishing something instead of writing useless papers and working on pointless projects. Just my .02

With that said, I'll probably end up going back to school sometime in the next year. My profession greatly rewards higher education...$$$

I hate school. . .but it's become routine. . .I'm 4 years OUT of college, and 4 years IN a PhD program in Human Genetics. . .and, well, it's a combination of classes AND full time work on your research (which you get paid to do on a stipend). . .so, you get best of both worlds: honestly, classes are great, learning is cool as well, BUT working is where it's at, it's what it's all for. . .so, yeah, I feel your pain, I want to graduate SOOOO bad, so I can start my "real" life and move on, get married, build a carpeted garage with air tools for my baby. . .

ROTFLMAO!

Our local community college had a branch in the mall, we called it MIT--Mall Institute of Technology. UMC is good, gonna have to keep that one!

I'm so pothetic i even made a UMC sticker for my jeep, that way i fit in when i hang out with all my friends with their college shirts and stickers on their cars

College is fun beacuse you dont sit in class all day. I'm really getting sick of it though. Took classes all summer too.

Yeah, I think I can handle it, especially since I'll be paying for it and getting what I need for my dream job. And I'm going into mechanical engineering, after the first two years, it should get more hands-on and hopefully not as boring. I just dread having to take calculus 1 through 1000.

I guess I'm one of those minorities that loved college and loves my work.

That's not to say I wouldn't jump at a chance to grab my Masters degree, though. Just have to figure out a way to do it and stay on retainer at the company I work for.

Since they only do business at a national level, I don't think they would be interested in helping me out on an MBA with international business emphasis...
