I hear ya! I'm on the six year plan for a four year degree, I'm broke and I really don't care anymore! I especially despise my intro to marketing class...it's a 2.5 hour night class and the prof stands up there and talks about all sorts of stupid boring stuff that has nothing to do with marketing!! Like his impala that he just bought and he was so happy that it had a cassette player "instead of one of those DVD things." Eh? Yeah he is old. In a bad way. And he has a really strict attendance policy. He takes roll TWICE during class so sneaking out in not an option. I want out!

So with 2 years left I am definitely thinking about a change in my major.
Oh, how I'd love to take a semester off, but my job (which is actually IT related) is dependant on me being an enrolled student. I think I just picked the wrong class-load this semester.
Beer is my Gatorade.
Hooray Beer.

Guys, enjoy school while you can. Once you're out of school awhile, you'll look back and wish you were back in college. After college, its nothing but working, paying taxes, then dying! If you think life's a hassle now, you haven't seen anything yet.
You dudes that have been through college and have been working in the real world for a few years now -- you agree or disagree???

ROTFLMAO!
Our local community college had a branch in the mall, we called it MIT--Mall Institute of Technology. UMC is good, gonna have to keep that one!

Dude, stay in school as long as you can. The real world sucks! When I was in school, all I wanted was to get out. I wish I could be a college student again

Wait to you been working at the same job for 5 or 6 years. You will wish you were back in college. After working 9 years, I went to college (full time) for the first time and wow, like a vacation. That was 17 years ago. Recently received a masters degree. went nights after work. I like classes, but working full tiime and school on a accelerated program is rough. Compared to real life, full time college is a cakewalk.
Quit your biatching and enjoy it. Life will get really hard soon enough. Bored? Bored isn't as bad as you think.
What's that Chinese curse? "May you live in interesting times." Bored can be a lot nicer than "interesting".

LOL!!!! I moved out at 18. I work about 43 hours a week as a Burger King manager to pay the bills. I take a minimum of 12 credit hours a quarter (21 last fall). The reason I want out is not so much because I hate school, but I hate the ruthless routine of day in day out being awake and busy. I stayed up til 2 the other night scuffing my side skirts, not cause it took forever, but because I didn't get out of class til 9pm. My 2 days off, I'm at school from noon to 9pm. The other 5 is work, 3 of which work and school. I also have to finish planning my wedding in July.
I WANT A BREAK! Just working for a while would do that mighty fine.
God graced us with intelligence, let's use it.
