This only happens when the car is cold... When I start the car, it cranks with no problem, but the RPM is extremely low or drops like a rock, then the lights dim a bit and the car dies.
If I rev the engine a few times before it dies, then it idles fine.
If it dies, I can usually start it up right away and it runs fine.
No CEL at all, no battery light either.
Dying alternator? Just had battery replaced last year so doubt it's that.
