My Story....My Dad started me on my trek with fast cars. My first car I "bought" from my uncle. It was my dad's first car. A '67 Plymouth Barracuda. 383 cu. in. eng, posi-traction rear, book says 335hp (low for insurance purposes).

Then I graduated highschool. The 67 was showing signs of wear and needed a rebuild. I needed a car to get back and forth to work in. In comes the 84 chev cavalier..... ooooh buoooy lemmie tell you what a fast car...but hey it will do. Put a nice system in it which I think raised its value and after much time with it, it developed engine trouble (among other minor problems---like aluminum thermostat bolts breaking in the engine). Took it to someone who rebuilt the engine and cleared out the bank. Sat for one week vacation and there it was. A HUGE oil leak under the car!

NO MORE CHEV's Got a '93 Ford Mustang with the 2.3 in it and manual tranny. I liked! Put system in it. Nice people removed the system from it out the big back window. And little ol granny with a two ton 80 something Lincoln Towncar made an illegal lane change across two lanes of traffic in the rain. I hit her car spun it 180 and it totalled the stang. frown

So I was again looking for a car and since my credit was not all too pretty I kept looking and looking and looking.........ran across another Chevy.....cavalier....pfffft whatever. Couldn't get qualified. It was all for the best. I found the 96 Mystique with REALLY LOW miles on it and a 5spd and I was hooked. It rocks. So to make a long story even longer, I am in the process of building it up piece by piece until it gets to be blindingly fast. I have that ol school mentality and I will apply it.

That's my story and I am sticking to it
