Well, for only $30/sub I'm not too concerned, and I'm all about improving their free-air performance. laugh

I talked to JL Audio about this actually. They agree that it wouldn't shorten the life of the woofer. It took me a series of 10-15 e-mails to admit it, but they did. smile

I still see no point in even wiring a sub this way, (ok a 2 channel amp with a Dual 4 ohm sub, just run it at 2 ohm and see which one gives up first laugh )

Thinking of using a pair of 4ohm DVC subs with a mono sub amp only stable down to 2ohms.

I still dunno yet. Been working on my truck's system lately. Lots left to do on both vehicles, and the weather still won't change. Why is it snowing?!?! mad mad
