Drive was good!
Lupe in the median at break-neck speeds with me and Nor-CalCoug weaving traffic on the 680 was fun. I, of course, was just trying to keep up with Mr. Insanity and his partner. Little did I know they were chasing some hottie in a Prelude.
Met Stinger00 in Danville. Never new Danville was shady but when we rolled up we see some guy selling office furniture out the back of a van to all these people.
off to Concord to the "hotel, motel, Holiday Inn" to meet with lobudget. We took over the parking lot for our brief stay and I excused myself to the bushes for a moment of relief.
Over the bridge, pay the lady a toll, and gt stuck in traffic on the 680 to 80 interchange while it freaking pours rain on us.
Hit the Budweiser plant, very big, and got to learn about the beachwood aging process. Very cool! Highlight was when we learned there are 120 holding tanks with each one holding 500,000 12oz servings. Yeah, thats a lot of freaking bear. No pics! as cameras were not allowed.
After the tour we settled down and each had two 10oz beers or Bacardi O type drinks. Michelob Amber Bock was damn tasty! No Bud Light for me.
Off to lunch. We toured Fairfield and damn it if you don't know your in a fine neighborhood when you roll up on a bunch of cars with wheels that cost more than the car. A fine example was a early 90's full-size Pontiac with Chrome dubs.
Hit the BK for a snack and to regroup.
Off to the JellyBelly factory for a tour and a case of sexual harassment.
