I got a letter today from the Illinois Secretary of state, I get a notice saying my license plates are suspended because of "Failure to comply with mandatory vechile insurance laws.... Insurance company indicated no LIABILITY Coverate"
I get my insurance bill, for my 1995 Ford Contour, BAM: Automotive Liability Insurance, shows I paid for it... They want me to pay $100, and show proof that I have it... I AM NOT PAYING $100!!! Though my contour has been dead for awhile at the moment... Wondering how I should settle this. And when I recieved that, when I tried to call they said their offices were closed... Monday I have to call up, any ideas what I should do?
And I was insured since I bought that car...
I hate Illinois....
