There are invertors from 120v to 12v,,, then I'd plug another accessory that has the typical cigarrette lighter end into the invertor, then cut those wires and splice.

Easier to buy a new Cd...u would be enjoying your favorite song by now...a new one cant set u back that much..much less than a power supply to eject the old one

That was for the person who wanted to use a car radio at home.

For the person who just wants to eject the CD, either use a car battery and be careful or find an old computer power supply and use that. The yellow wire to the disk drive connector is 12V, and the black wire is ground.

What are you doing with the old head unit. Take it apart. If you break it who cares? get the CD out, put it back together with the wick if a stick of dynomite sticking out of the CD hole, set up your video camera, and enjoy your 15 seconds of internet fame!!!

I got $55 for my old Ford factory CD player on Ebay--and it wouldn't eject the CD half the time.
