Wow, what an out-pouring of help! I really do appreciate it! They replaced both my transmission mounts, flywheel, starter, and put a reconditioned CD4E in it, but they never claimed that they reconditioned it, they probably just bought a reconditioned one like the one my dad found for $800 dollars, but still charged all the hours it would take to rebuild one. Anyways, I have to take it back to the shop in 15 days so that they can check it out, so I'm thinking I might just tell them to do the shifter thing, because I REALLY don't want to make it any worse than it already is. As for the temperature gauge, I did not know that there was two. I have a 1998 Ford CD, and I could only find one listed, so I'll try looking for the other and see if that's not the problem. When I got home from the shop I popped my hood open and they have wired my radiator fan on and they neglected to tighten the MAF (accordian tube) hose clamp that attaches to the engine block, and it was almost off, so that leads me to believe that they forgot to do a lot more than the MAF and temp gauge. Thanks again you all!
P.S.- I know this has been discussed before, but how do I make a donation to the CEG? Also, can I use pay pal or a credit card? Thanks. -Spencer
