I just got my 1998 ATX Mercry Mystique (V6) back from the shop (which was a nightmare... go figure) and the shifter does not line up with the marks on the center console anymore. I was just wondering how hard this is to correct. For example, when I want to be in reverse, the orange mark is somewhere in between P and R... and when I want to be in neutral, the orange mark is pretty much dead center on the R. Also, I can shift from reverse to park without pressing the brake, which I could not do before. Will this cause me any problems? On a side note, my temperature gauge was also improperly reinstalled, and now it is all the way past hot, and it doesnt move when you start the car or when you shut it off... I checked where the sensor is in the engine bay, it's attached, so does anyone know whats going on there? Any help is appreciated! -Spencer
