My fiancee was dead set on getting a Liberty to replace her Jetta 1.8T. However since we were leasing, we wound up going with a Grand Cherokee. With the subsidized leases on the Cherokees at the time (November), it didn't make any difference in price to go from a loaded Liberty ($27K list) to a relatively base Grand Cherokee ($29K list). Easy choice.
