Yes, I have driven both. It's just like the F-150, they just do it better than anyone else. WHat cracks me up is that DCX had to redo the springs on the Libery and drop them because the Libertys were flipping over in very normal maneuvers. I forgot which magazine it was but they published the photos of what happened when driving a Liberty.
Go drive a Tribute. Tell me what you think. Next month they start building the '05 Escapes....hundreds of new parts on it....it's worth waiting for.
Hmmm... That first statement definately is arguable... i've been up close and personal with the 150's vs the rams, and I do have a different opinion... But we are talking about Liberty's vs. the Escape. Mostly it depends on what you are going to use the vehicle for. If you want something that drives like a car (FWD), get the Escape. If you want something that drives like a Jeep (nothing drives like a Jeep), or is capable of doing more than taking jr. to soccer practice, then get the Jeep. You definately want the biggest engine you can get (diesel might be nice, but I haven't driven one yet). Do not get the Jeep if you want gas mileage though...
