Sure, this is the first girl to ever score points in a collegiate football game... great... I'm the first guy to take a dump in my toilet, big deal. She was probably scared to hell about opening her mouth, fearing that the ogres on that team would beat her ass if she did. She probaby wanted to continue playing the game and figured if she opened her mouth her chances of playing would evaporate (which obviously explains her motives for talking about it now).

If kicking field goals is more important to her than speaking to a police officer and informing them that somebody RAPED her, than she has issues that need adressing.

I also believe its the womens responsibility to quickly report these situations to the authorities before situations like these happen...

Absolutely.

but you have to put yourself in the girls shoes for a minute... guys out there, think about it... how quickly would you report having had another man shove his dick in your body without your consent?

No doubt I'd be hesitant, but with rapes unfotunately being fairly common, talking to a DOCTOR or a female police officer wouldn't be so embarassing.

Having said that, if I *did* decide to say something, I sure as hell wouldn't be telling it to SPORTS ILLUSTRATED!

But still, the truth is nobody's going to help you if you don't speak up quickly.

Absolutely II.
