the 9000 is quite a bit bigger than a subcompact glock. and it's really thick (probably too much so for your mrs.). i carried a G26 for a long time and loved it, and it is a stone reliable gun. right now i'm carrying a kel-tec p-11. it's an even smaller nine with the same capacity. not as nice a gun as the glock, but a lot smaller!!
