That's the weird thing, is that they never detected anything with the o2 sensors when they checked the codes. At the time I had a bad catalytic converter and knew it, and the code for that wasn't even showing up. So they said there was nothing they could do, so I told them to drive the car around until the light came on, and sure enough it did. That was for the catalytic converter.
The light is on again now, and this seems to be the only logical explaination. So I'll probably have to take it in get them to read the code (hopefully it will show up this time), and then I'll have to get them to replace it.
Do you know if it would be upstream or downstream with my symptoms? Or both? Mainly it's just the rotten smell and bad mileage. That's what I know so far.
I hate winter driving, if something is going to go, it always does it in the winter.
