lol....I have a set of perfect condition E0's as we speak, but thanks for the offer I'm either going to sell them or do something with them if I don't get some Rota's for a 2nd set of wheels/tires. Choices, choices

I do know that the face of an E1 wheel will need quite some sanding to get smooth for polishing. Trust me.
Ouch, are they kind of pitted under the thick paint?

"Kind of" is saying the least. I'll try to snap a pic tomorrow and send it to you. I attempted to strip the paint off of two of them. The lug holes, rim edge and inside dish of the wheel looks like it'll be great. Nice and shiney. But the face .

Clear coat,,,, fst4dr's black svt wheels did look pretty nice, though the wheels he got before he sold the car looked even better,,, whoever has that car is a lucky person.

Not just any clear coat....... http://www.eastwood.com/itemdy01.asp?Dep_Key1=hct&T1=10200+Z&I1.x=33&I1.y=57 This is the clear I've used on my 3L UIM and will be using on the SVT UIM I'm polishing right now. If I do polish my E0's, this is the only clear coat I'd even consider using.

I am very interested in seeing your progress! If the centers are really that bad, maybe powder coated centers (the 5-star face area) of the E1's would look completely sick, especially with the polished lip/rim flange

No one wants to see your POS!!
Haha. Sup?
That looks really good. Did you sand the wheel down before painting it? And is it paint or powdercoat? Looks sweet for a winter setup.

Sup? How you guys been?
I prepped and painted them w/ No clear. I just wanted to see how they would look. I still have my E1's on, but I repainted them silver.
