I was wondering if anyone has ever polished or customized their OEM SVT wheels? I remember someone photochopped some E1's that made them look like they were gunmetal w/ a polished lip........and IIRC someone polished their E0's.
I have a few ideas, and I want to see what others have done.

We have a member in Nor-Cal whose dealership chromed his E1's. They look pretty sexy. I'm sure polished would be nice as well.

were the gunmetal ones you were talking about on a focus? i remember seeing some, i believe they were on a focus, and i didnt think they were chopped. maybe my memory is wrong though.  anyway, i think gunmetal or polished would look awesome.

fst4dr powerdercoated his old e0's gunmetal. ive seen someone else who powerdercoated e1's gunmetal but dont remember the name.

I'm thinking about this as well. I want to polish mine. But IIRC, ya need to put some coating on them afterwards or the aluminum will oxidize. Anyone know what to use?

I've never seen a set of E0 or E1 wheels polished. I've seen them chromed and painted black, though. I do know that the face of an E1 wheel will need quite some sanding to get smooth for polishing. Trust me.

I remember seeing a pair(yes only 2) of fSVT rimmers on ebay, they looked pretty sweet though.....

what im talking about i saw here (ceg), and im assuming it was all four rims. if it wasnt, it was a pair mounted on the same side of the car. . . .
