Sorry man but that looks gghhheeeetttttoooooo.

Damn i didnt think anybody has gone through with that. How did he do it, with bondo and paint? I would try and make something a little cleaner looking, but its all possible. The mystique part is a little different and easier to work with for this type of an install. I want to have a switch powering a 2nd cigarrette lighter in the trunk, which powers the power inverter, which powers the computer. It would be a custom case made of plexi glass, and painted. I would extend the wires to have an external dvd-rom in the glove box (unless I find a new place to custom-install it in the cd-player area) and a hard drive bay so that I can easily take my hard drive out and put it back in if i need to do any extra work on it at the home computer. Ive got a lot of ideas, and now you guys are making me want to start with the mystique, but damn this car is going soon... but maybe it will make the car easier to sell? I have one issue with that screen in the picture is that its a little small, and its not a touch screen. I DO NOT want to have to use a mouse everytime i want to play an mp3.

There is a way to take apart your keyboard, and make custom buttons right next to your screen for certain letters. You can program a few letters to do certain commands on winamp, so you can make a few buttons simulate the letters "P" (for play) "S" (for stop) "F" (for forward) and so on. Ive actually started on that last year. You can make winamp the shell of the operating system, instead of explorer. This way only winamp shows up on the screen, and its the first thing that boots up on the computer. This I would do, but now I think ill just get the touchscreen and watch movies.

As you can see, this has been in my head for a very long time.
