On the question of double stick tape (i.e. 3M stuff). You can uses this but since those kinds of film are thick they will make the emblem stick out a little bit and these were made to sit just inside the existing oval to give an OEM look. Therefore using doublestick adhesive tapes can make it protrude a little bit.
