I drive from just south of Barrie to Toronto every day. The roads in the City are crap. It is a slalom course to avoid the pot holes in some places.

Yours a v6 or a 4cyl? Judging by your coolant guage I hope it is the zetec.

. Like the other Ford I had (it MUST be a plague) I am now starting to get hot temps, quicker.
Zetec mos def. What can I do to get the guage to stay lower?

Flush the cooling system, replace the thermostat, inspect the rad for damage.
