When I got my car back from the mechanic I realized somethin weird. The clock in the dashboard had changed from AM/PM to a 24h display. Now I've got such un-american displays like 16:24, 13:05 or even 21:52

What happened to my American car? Does it want to show solidarity with me German, or are un-american vigors at work?
