I will never sellout to the Blueprint! No matter what the specs say, it's still a house speaker! Haha. Anyways, I thought I might put my 2 cents in since EJ and I are probably going to be the only ones in this thread to give a Non-Home Audio suggestion. Given I do not know the price range you are looking for, I would have to suggest the Kenwood subs which are now silver cone(instead of blue, same specs) and on sale at Circuit City- buy one, get one free. I love my 10's, and I have them each in a .88 cubic ft. sealed chamber. Both of my amps are also mounted in the box(center chamber that separates the subs), and this thing only goes about 14" into the trunk, leaving plenty of space for the groceries...lol. I'm getting 2 of the Silver 10's and scrapping this box and building a new one for all four of them. Thanks for reading, and good luck with whatever you decide on. Now for some whoring:

The Blueprint 1002 was designed specifically for a car audio application. You could go as as .25 cubic feet, but it would be better to go with .4 or so.
I would not, under any circumstances, get a W7. You can get an Adire Audio Brahma for about 1/2 the cost with equal or better performance.

Guys, Thanks a lot for feedback. My budget is flexible, but i don't want to go higher than 300$ for sub. But it doesn't mean that i must get one for 299.99 Lambda for 160$ sonds right. I don't want it to play loud - i want to have Home Thieter effect - "You can't notice the subwoofer on, you only can notice when it's off" 2Gsport: Do you need your rear seats down to listen to the subs? The Honkeytonk Monkey: Do you have pic of your box mounted in the trunk ?

Nope, but it is louder with the seats down...no issues with the amp overheating though, I guess that's because it's only a 120@2 (30x2)

I think that Polk audio dX and Momo series are great subs. Low volume and even sound.
The momo series subs look like ferrai's in the speaker world, comparatively speaking.

hey all you need is i JL Audio W7 preferably the new 13" they will slam bigger and harder than any other speaker and take up less space and look great and require less wattage then most. or if you dont want to spend a lot of money get the w3 which are very good speakers as well.

warmonger The momo is a great looking sub, but very overpriced. It has the performance of a good 150.00 sub. If you can find one for that price, it would be a contender. The only issue with the Lambda is the space required, if you can afford to lose some space, you won't find a better sub for the money.
