It is not noisy with gutted pre-cats!

It actually sounds better with the pre-cats gutted, and the main cat DOES keep things quieter. No resonator will result in lots of drone.

MSDS headers, open free flowing cat and a muffler in the stock resonator location will sound very good. THe power will also be worth it.
