Depends on the driver ability in the two cars and the specific SHO itself. There have been more than a handful SHOs hit 14.5-.7s bone STOCK! How many CSVTs have hit 14s BONE STOCK? I don't remember hearing of any. Some with a few mods yes, but bone stock no!

As a total package, I agree the the CSVT is a beater car ALL AROUND. BUT the SHO has many more creature comforts, and IMHO is a better highway car. And, you can use the excuse that the SHO has an edge because of the displacement yada yada, but think about this...the SHO (depending on the year) can weigh about 400lbs MORE than a CSVT

Besides the CSVT is waaaaaaay ahead of the SHO in chassis composure, handling abilities and braking. Not to mention refinement and build quality. Most of the SHO's edge comes from its larger displacement, higher torque motor.

It would make it a COMPLETE driver's race between the two cars (assuming stock hybrid swap), it already is a drivers race, but the hybrid swap would make the cars almost dead nuts in a 1/4 race more so.
