The Adapt IQ is a feature on the newer Bose systems. It automatically senses the distances of each speaker from the seating area, therefore it adjusts the power running to each speaker. It also computes the location of the other speakers, and where the sound will be coming from, and can adjust different aspects of the sound to maximize quality. It's a cool feature... You should have got a disn explaining it. If not, any place that sells Bose has them in their demos. Go to Sears, or Best Buy, or whomever. Like I said... Awesome set up. As for the HD programming, no one really has it yet, just some channels that you can get with digital cable. If you have Dig Cable or satelite, then you have all you can get. If not, I'd advice getting the upgrade. Dish Network had some great deals going recently...
