I agree but unfortunately he did. For the amount of money he spent on the bose system he could have designed a setup that would make that bose system sound nonexistent. I've owned a bose system in the past so I speak from first hand experience.

Well i did spend more than 500 for the bose. I spent 1500 for the bose from best buy but i got a 9 year warrenty so if i blow the speakers or anything for the next nine years i get free replacements. One of the biggest reason i went with bose is because of how small they are. I like simple designs that don't take up alot of space. Regarding hi-def i have digital cable and direct tv so i get digital channels which are alot nicer than analog but still nothing like hi-def. I heard that there is a samsung dvd player that is supposed to convert any dvd from 480p to 1080p. I have never seen it but i would like to here if it works.

"I can take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, I've got spare time."
IMHO there is a lot more and better sound to be had for $1500 than through the Bose mini-systems; but hey opinions are like a$$holes... No doubt they have the market cornered on Rubik's-cube-come-speaker however.

Hey i appreciate the help. I do like the sub at times and other times it is not very loud at all. What kind of sub would you recommend. I like to feel the base.(i think i spelled that right). Also what do you think it would cost.

Click on the link in my last post, it's supposed to be a great sub and you can probably end up getting it for about 300.00 in that auction. Parts express is a great source and their service is very good. I used to have a velodayne cht-10 and it was great but in all honesty it was too much for my apartment so regretfully I've downgraded to an infinity bu1. I'm not sure how much you would want to spend but if 300.00 is ok with you I would jump on that auction. If not, check out some velodynes. I have to go to work now but I'll check back tonight and if you need any help drop me a PM and I'll get back to you when I get home from work.

great plasma - have to say the abstract wall set-up just kills the whole thing for me.
Haven't invested in the plasma yet, I love them but we watch so little tv that it just didn't seem to make sense.
We do however have HD here so we have a 1080i 54" Samsung 4:3 (I hate widescreen for things that aren't shot in it)We can shift the aspect to 16:9 and still have it be a 43 or so widescreen while still retaining the 54" full use for 4:3.
All runs through a Sony set up which allows not only distances input for the speakers but also allows you to specify the frequency reponse range for each speaker to really clarify the sound even more, I love the sound set-up.
ENJOY YOURS! It looks like a very clean room with not much clutter, so much better for the sound.

What, did Dean Joyce design your in-wall setup for the components?
