what is the adapt iq thing for the bose system. The tv is capable of hi-defination which is 1080 but i don't have hi-defination in my area which sucks. The coolest thing about my tv is it has a video card slot that i can change or upgrade so as tecnology advances i can upgrade. Also for additional accessories like picture in picture and so on. Everyone i talked to sayed it was the best setup.

I found this picture of my setup before i remodled. It doesn't show alot but you get the picture. It was right before halloween party we had. The cob webs are fake. LOL

That's a cool looking setup you have there, especially the TV. Just not a fan of bose, could have done wayyyyy better for the price.

The Adapt IQ is a feature on the newer Bose systems. It automatically senses the distances of each speaker from the seating area, therefore it adjusts the power running to each speaker. It also computes the location of the other speakers, and where the sound will be coming from, and can adjust different aspects of the sound to maximize quality. It's a cool feature... You should have got a disn explaining it. If not, any place that sells Bose has them in their demos. Go to Sears, or Best Buy, or whomever. Like I said... Awesome set up. As for the HD programming, no one really has it yet, just some channels that you can get with digital cable. If you have Dig Cable or satelite, then you have all you can get. If not, I'd advice getting the upgrade. Dish Network had some great deals going recently...

Why am I the only poor guy on this forum? Here I am without a tv, let alone a refrigerator, watching these beautiful home entertainment setups.. Ahh well, nice stuff...

I'm not feeling the abstract set up.

Hopefully you didn't drop more than $500 on the B[l]ose.

why would you say that?????

with bose..... If you buy from the Bose dealer, where i work, you get exactly what you pay for... no hidden costs. Also, i would like you to find a store or company that replaces systems for free, even after having them for 2 or 3 years....

And that doesnt even include the benefits of the sound!
