I've driven in Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland, overseas while in the service (especially the Autobahn), and I've never seen anything like driving in NYC. Unless you have nerves of steel and a brain to match, no way would I drive my SVT in NYC. Most of the drivers are crazy!!! On the other hand, I guess if you want to survive, you have to be nuts behind the wheel. I'd rent a car before I'd take my own--just be sure to get the extra insurance, you'll probably need it.
