I have a 00mtx cougar with a rebuilt tranny from ford...fixed bout 2 years ago.
Cars been running smooth and using mobil 1 cocktail for over a year.
Recently the car has been hard to shift into any gear when cold.
Anyone know how to adjust the shifter linkages?
I may have messed up the linkage alignment maybe when greasing the shifter? How to adjust those little black round adjusters next to the orange retainers behind the shifter?
Once the car starts moving in a gear the shifter shifts fine....kinda odd ehh?
