love mine. i'd prefer a progressive spring but can deal w/ the linear springs of the gc's. some friends wouldnt want it in their cars but they arent car people. my friends have a 1/4 turn and rears 1/2 turn and thats plenty for me. i tried 1/2 turn for the front and it was too stiff for me. dont know what the install costs. my local members helped me.

I just got off the phone with Ground Control. They said that the kit comes with 525#F/280#R. The rear sounds a bit light to me. How is understeer/oversteer? I want this kit for my '95 SE and I like a pretty agressive suspension. Does anybody know what stock spring rates are (I realize that they are probably progressive, but still.....)? How about rates of H&R or Eibach springs? Thanks for any info!

I went from Eibachs/stock struts to the Koni/GC setup. I drive my car around with the struts on full stiff(1 full turn), as it's not my daily driver....I can tell you that body roll is non-existant, and no matter the spring rate #, this is one tight suspension.

I don't know rates, but coming from stock 96 SE suspension to H&R's and Bilsteins was a bit disappointing. The increase in stiffness was not that significant and the drop was about 1"F and 0.5"R - I would get Koni's and GC if I had to do it all over again. Spend the extra $$$ and get a real sweet setup.

can anybody do me a favor and measure the length of their front and rear GC springs? also, could you measure the inner diameter of the front and rear spring perches (the threaded part)? also, are the rear spring top hats that GC provides needed? help is greatly appreciated.

good answer. i guess it would have been easier to ask if somebody could provide me with the part numbers from their springs. only reason is because I picked up some 99 cougar GC's for $160 bucks and want to make sure they will work. and do you know for sure if you HAVE to use the top hats? I know that in ALL of the rest of my cars I have never had to use the top hats (integra, GTI VR6, accord, etc).
