I have never had work done there, but I have taken my car to the Amoco on Callahan Road in Powell. My transmission was acting funny, and they told me that my fluid was all black and burnt and that meant I needed a whole new transmssion over 1000 bucks. RIIIGHHHHTTTT. I told him where to stick it and walked out. I went up the street to All In One Automotive (a execellent mom and pop place) and they drained the fluid and put me a new filter in, and I've been good to go since. Just think of it this way, tranmission world and amoco transmissions are corproations and just like everything else in this capitalistic world, are out to make money. they don't care about how much you love your car.

BTW, nice to meet ya, it's great to see a fellow Knoxville person on here!
