RWD vehicles are usually much less labor-intensive when replacing a clutch.
To replace the clutch and transmission on my 1988 Mustang GT was something like $300 in labor.
I was actually considering doing it myself, although I decided not to because I wanted a shop to install the transmission so it'd be their problem if there were something wrong with it.
