Well my greatest fear come true. I got the call from the garage that my clutch has gone bad.
I was quoted $1755.00 (Clutch + Pressure Plate + Throw out Bearings + Labor)
Personally, that sounds steep to me. Anyone got a ball park range for this sort of work. And would anyone like buy this car before the work is done.
1999 Ford Contour SVT 41000 miles.
I love the car, but thats a lot of $$$$ and I don't think I'm gonna be able to find a dealership or garage that can do good work for a reasonable price. I live in the DC / Baltimore area and if anyone knows reputable shop the reference would be appreciated.
