XM is 9.99, AFAIK.
I haven't been able to justify the cost, but if you aren't happy with radio in your area, i suppose it's worth a look. I have 50 CDs of MP3s burned that I will eventually use in my car, but i'm poor so that won't happen any time soon either. Until then, it's AM talk radio and CDs for me.
