I'm wondering if anyone has experimented with inexpensive anti-reflective fabrics for covering the dash, cutting down on windshield glare. I visited JoAnn fabrics and found a couple of options: velveteen (I believe that's what they use for the World Rally Focus in the FIA), velour and cloth suede.

Mostly I am wondering if it is best to avoid polyester and other plastics-based fabrics due to the possibility of them melting in the sun...

Second question: Is there any good adhesive to use, better for use in the same circumstances (hot sun beating down on dark dash).

Thanks!

I had that problem with my 98 tour and I ordered a black
dash mat and it works fine!
