1.2ft^3 would be fine. I can't think of the displacement off hand though, sorry.

AFAIK I'm the only K owner on this board. Send 'em an email. You'll get a prompt reply, as has been my experience with ED.

Ha, squeezing out the power eh? That amp getting a little hot after a while?
I can't decide whether to get a 10 or a 12. If I get a 10 I can reuse the box I have, but I'd really like to maximize the output with the power I've got which is around 300 wrms for the sub.
I'm still looking at the infinity perfect too, at the price it's at, I think it's hard to beat.

Not hardly! That lil amp is a trooper! It's yet to over heat or fail in anyway. RF makes some tough stuff. I've had the same install since last summer and the summer heat or winter cold can't stop it. Go to the "Kill a Toyota" video in pics n vids. This amp would live through that. As far as getting hot, I drove from St. Augustine to Chattanooga (about 750 miles the way we went) and the amp played on and on the whole way.
For the box, just make a new one. It's really not that hard. Go to Wally World and buy a Black & Decker jigsaw for $20 and you're ready to go.

Tools are not the problem, my dad's a woodworker by trade and a master craftsman by nature. It's really more the time involved.
I love that kill a toyota video, it makes me want one of those too. Too bad taco's cost an asston to buy even with 100k on them.
I really love the look of the ed's, but I've heard of alot of them "letting go" in various ways, such as the piston from the former. That's messed up eh?

It sure is, but I've never heard of that. Mine gets a good workout everytime I drive and it still plays strong. I think I've had it for about 6 months now.

I dont know if its to late or not, but i have 2 shiva's and i love them, they hit hard, deep, and are clean. And im pretty sure they are 375 rms per coil, 750 rms together. And if u buy 2 of them you can run them in parallel for 2 ohms... Thats what i do. I love them though, and i ahve them in 2 1.25 or 1.5 custom boxes i forget. I like them tho and so do other people
