okay thanks guys. I think what I have are basically a different kind of butt connector already on the ends of the HU harness wires. Just so long as I can use pliers or buy/borrow a crimper tool this should be easier than I thought.
wish i had a digital camera sos I could just show you what I'm talking about next time.
