Blow (acting caliber)
Boondock Saints (indie/action but great)
Pirates of the Carribean (acting and editing)
Good Will Hunting (classic movie... and in Boston!)
Rounders (very slick, esp. if you love poker)
Poolhall Junkies (Rounders... but with pool)
Suicide Kings (indie, great acting, Chris Walken)
Tears of the Sun (best non-action action movie)
SWAT (very slick, very fast, very fun)
Open Range (Good old-fashioned western)
Casablanca (Bogey)
Maltese Falcon (Again)
Goodfellas (Classic mob flick)
Godfather (Classic flick period)
Gladiator (What we do in life...)
BlackHawk Down (more fiction than not, but, good)
Saving Private Ryan (damn good movie)

There's my short list... enjoy!

If you like boiler room, check out the original, and much better, Wall Street with Michael Douglas and Charlie Sheen... great movie about wealth and greed.

Also, if you want a good movie that you have to think a little about to appreciate it completely, check out "The Graduate"... I just watched it again yesterday and damn if it isn't a freakin' classic. Also "The Game" is a pretty good mind f*@&.

The original one right? I haven't seen the new one and don't really want to. I am glad they redid it though. Otherwise the original probably never would have been released on DVD.

Never saw the original, but I liked the new one ...

It might be a case of the Harry Potter Book Vs. Movie case: whichever you saw first, you liked more. As I have no comparison, I can't say which Italian Job was better.
