I am still a n00b when it comes to audio, so bear with me. Anyway, I've got a Pioneer HU (DEH-P1500 or something, it's about 3.5 yrs old and now discontinued) and really need new speakers. I'm not concerned about a pounding system for the time being, but I can't live with the stock speakers (which are blown and [censored]).

These seem like a good deal, and in my past experience, JBL is pretty damn good for car audio.

These Crystal CXE-570 would be a very nice drop-in upgrade over the stockers.

Of the three you listed, the Polks are probably the best choice.

The crystal's are nice, but personally I would save some money and get the Infinity Kappa 5x7's from Ikesound, or get sounddomain to price match Ikesounds price to save even more.

The infinity's are similar to the JBL's, but with ifinity's cone material.

I love my Infinitys, and the cone material is great stuff. not to expensive, either.

see I have to disagree...I think the crystal's sound so much better than my kappa's. I put crystal's in a jeep for a friend of mine and everytime I am in his vehicle I am always stating how jealous I am of how his vehicle sound
