Are you changing to solid lifters? Or will they work fine with hydro lifters?
Just wondering because Cat cams has different cams for solid vs hydro.

Stage 1 cams for low to mid end TQ, not changing anything else. I can't use Stage 2 (safely) with nitrous, not without alot of extra tuning.

Yet another reason to only go to Stage 1 cams. Stage 2 is not worth the trouble.

The problem depends on the manufacturer and stage of the cams. Stage 1 is least likely to have a problem, and as far as I know, no Cougor or Focus owners have had a problem with the cams that I have. I can't say with 100% confidence, but if that's the only problem, a little milling will fix it.
