Tripath amps are a variation of a class D amp. You can learn all about them at
www.tripath.com They offer the effeciency of class D with the ability to sound good. They are cheap to produce and extremely promising. I'm sure teh class T designation was given based on the name of the company. Besides, class D amps aren't truly class D amps anyway.
