Don't do it, keep the MTX. Incredible amp for the money, used to compete with MTX for a few years in another car I had years ago, and I have nothing bad to say about the product and the help and support those guys give you at MTX if you have an questions on hook up or concerns even if it's not there product when you call their 1-800 number.

My advise keep the MTX get an adaptor from stinger or any other brand of connector manufacturer that will connect into the 1 awg. terminal and convert it to 4 awg. which can handle the 150 amps anyway. All the big connector manufacturers make this such as stinger, Phoenix Gold, Streetwires etc..

As for DEI not bad product for the price but DEI is the largest alarm manufacturer in north america (viper), stick to there alarms for now, not to mention they did buy Clifford Electronics there largest bankrupt competitor in north america. Amps they are still fairly new to this category yes decent will do the job but MTX different class of amp, and I agree it's true salesmen overall in these car audio shops need to know more.
