I went into a local stereo shop and told the owned i wanted a very powerful amp that will be able to push whatever i want. I have 4 gage already routed and told him i just wanted to be able to hook it up that night. So we talk for awhile and he recommends the mtx thunder8100d. I was interested and asked him if it would hook up to what i have and he was like yea we will help you set it up too. So i fork out the 550 bucks for it and they go pick it up. Take out the amp to get ready to install it......1/0 gauge only terminals and 150 amp fuse needed, can't believe it theres no internal fuses at all. So now i have the monster of an amp pushing around 1200 watts rms into 2 ohms and i can not put it in my car. So now i gotta go down to the dei 600d mono amp which is not a bad amp, just not the 1200 watts rms that i had with the mtx. Those mtx totals were on the spec sheet given with the amp. It was actually 1163 rms tested on my particular amp. I just got annoyed cause i walked in with that money and asked for an amp i could hook up right there. Oh well just need people to know their products.
