dang it, i was reading this post to see how to run my wires, and i just realized i dont have any torx bits to take off the cowl! has anyone tried running it through where that little rubber boot connects the door to the fender? then running it through the fender to the battery? i ran some wires like that in my f-150, but dont know if its do-able in contiques.

Just use a small flat head screw driver.....then you don't need a torque bit. That is what I did and had no problems what so ever.

With my 4 gauge, all i did was peeled the carpet back about a foot on the drivers side floor, and pretty much behind the gas pegal, there is a little black rubber cirle, which i just popped out and ran my wire through. best of luck

see this big orange thing, its where I drilled, a 5/8 bit through This is with the wire in the hole, ohh yea! This is where it came out. This is a zoomed in shot! This takes aprox 2 minutes to do. and hell isn't a pain in the ass, no [censored] with the wipers at all.

if you have a cable driven speedo , run the cable through the same grommet, that is th eone in ? i believe. Run the cable threw the same grommet the cable is going through.

Look at the bottom of page 2 of this post. There is a pic of my car which shows the grommet. Good luck. By the way, I finally had time to finish my amp install/running new speaker wire to the doors. It came out great. I will probably get around to uploading the pictures tonight to show you guys.
