I´m thinkin to make exhaust(cat back) my self on my V6 Mondeo.
An I have decided to use Magnaflow parts and pre bend pipes 2" or 2.25".
So what muffler models you recomend?
And do I need reonator?
Did anybody have made such a exhaust and I´m also looking for sound clips

If you are retaining the Y-pipe then I would recommend using 2.5" single piping.

If you have the pre-cats or stock cat you could go with a bullet style resonator over a full bodied unit but either way still retain the rear muffler as well.

Magnaflow is a nice deep tone but a bit boomy.
Dynomax is more throaty/exotic sounding. (Think Touring car without the rasp)

Of course only use straight through design.

Of course I´m making whole cat back piping with new muflers.
I´m retaining original cat and precats for now.
I´n future I will get headers.

CTA has several sound clips in the Ford Contour exhaust section. Some with headers too.

I´m just looking for exact model numbers for resonator and muflers.
How many muffler do I need?
Cos I´m thinking about same kind of exhaust that comes standard with Mondeo ST220, it uses one 2,25" pipe and that splits to two under trunk.
