Sorry, dude, I was number 2 AND I LOVE THEM!!!! Sorry, I couldn't resist And I put a post up today in "Troubleshooting" about how the tips get dirty all the time. I wipe them every other day, only takes a second, but it's a pain. I was using premium, think I'll go up to super and see if it helps. It took alittle getting used to cuze it is quieter than it was after I removed the resonator. Sometimes I think I should let my son drive my car past me a couple of times just so I can hear what it sounds like from the outside.

Well, it's been a couple of weeks and the exhuast has opened upa bit. It's sounds just the was I want it to. Deep purr with no drone. Ahhhhh, finally I'm happy.

I haven't cleaned the tips yet, but the insides do look black. Meh, I can live with that.

I'm jealous . And yeah as far as my car went, do NOT let the tips get dirty. Mine got good and black on the bottom, tried 3 different polishes even with some pretty harsh abrasives. They're screwed. And not to jack the thred, but what part of philly are you in?

One of these days I'll get around to cleaning the tips. I used to use Never Dull on my old tips and it woekred well.

I'm in the West Philly Suburbs (Delaware County)- 5 miles outside the city limits.

I use a very fine steel wool when washing the car to clean the tips. Its very quick and easy and doesn't scratch the stainless tips.
