Had it installed today. First impressions:

It's quiet, much quieter than the stock exhaust with a Magnaflow resonator. The drone is gone, which was my #1 complaint with my old setup. I'm hoping that the Borla will loosen up a little after a week or two. It has a deep tone to it, but it's very mild.

I'm still having mixed views on the tips. Sometimes I like them, sometimes I don't.

It may just have been in my head, but mine seemed to get louder after a while. If you really want a nice sound out of the Borla, go with headers/gutted precats and an off-road y- pipe.

Yeah, I'm going to wait a couple of weeks to see if it gets louder. That is what happened with my Camaro's exhaust.

I gotta say, the car pulls a little harder on the highway, especially if your leaving it in 5th gear.

Yeah, the Borla is known to give decent low to mid range torque gains.

I have noticed that the tips are impossible to keep clean. I think its the way they are shaped, the exhaust gas seems to cover the entire tip with a black layer of crud, especially since I removed the cats. I dont mind the look, although I would have prefered a regular angle cut tip.

I can floor it and no one ever looks at the car like "oooo that sounded good what was that?"

I don't know how it sounds cause I have not let anyone else drive it.

Get some metal polish and the tips clean up in two swipes of a cloth. Rub it on and then rub it off with a clean towel. Works great. Mothers and 3M have worked great for me.

You know, every time the Borla is mentioned, I get misty eyed. I was on line to get one in the group buy and was the third on the wait list. Seems like I was skipped over and was told that Borla is out of stock for now. Hopefully they'll get to me soon.
