you have got to be kidding me!!!

the only thing that could clear that approach angle would be a truck and that wouldnt fit in the garage!

Imagine if it gets icy there in the winter...you could die trying to get down your driveway every morning.

they should have extended the driveway out to the street and tunneled the sidewalk under it!

Man, that builder should be shot and so should whoever let them place the house that high on the grade. Most likely it's a case of an idiot home buyer or builder wanting to put in a walkout basement on a lot that just wouldn't work for one so they set the house way up in the air and now look what happens. The least they could've done is to drop the garage a couple feet and just build steps into the house from the garage. Of course this was done the same way most things are to do, the cheapest way possible.

I agree that these houses are ridiculous. However there are some cases around here where the driveways are that steep and it's by no fault of the builder. The garage is built under the house even, yet due to the land they decided to build on, the driveway has to go up at an angle just as steep as above!

The builder will find some idiots who will buy those houses. Where are they located anyway?
