Sorry to tell you but probably not. I am pretty sure that almost all inspection stations check for this. Your car has to be in the proper drive cycle for all tests to complete. When you reset the cel the car is no longer no longer in this drive cycle and takes some time for the PCM to test all the systems.
Depending on what code you got the first time, it will most likely return when the PCM tests for it again. What code did you get?
