Spun rod bearing are usually not an issue with the regular duratecs. It's usually the Svt's that have that problem. I have not seen a regular 2.5 yet with a spun rod bearing due to oil starvation.
That .2 of a quart is not nearly enough to overfill. You can spin a bearing just as easily on the standard duratec if the conditions are right. It is not just an SVT problem.
